The hospital was initially Jaehae Clinic, established in 1910. Since then, it boasts 100 years of history from Jeju Clinic to Jeju National University Hospital, and has been responsible for the public medical service of the Jeju region.
Since the opening of National University Hospital in November 2001, it has been carrying out a pivotal role as the first and only national university hospital on the Jeju region, spanning education, research, and treatment.
BTS Motion Analysis Systems were introduced in 2013 and are designed to define the appropriate clinical treatment and analyze the status of diseases in musculoskeletal patients.
Rehabilitation Department Professor
- Gait analysis depending on diseases
- Gait research for Pediatrics
- Gait research for the elderly
- Gait research on post-surgery of knee and hip joints
The Department expands its boundaries of research adding Isokinetic machines, respiratory gas analyzer and treadmill system.
It, customarily, takes longer time to analyze single patients at Rehabilitation Department mainly due to short-staffed hospital. Given that, it is natural that they look for a device that evaluates as many patients as possible in a short period of time.
Notably, BTS Motion Analysis Systems live up to expectations. Eight (8) cameras and four (4) P-6000 are being used together with FREEEMG 300 (16 Ch) for sEMG while moving. The BTS systems add accuracy and reliability to our work and make the rehabilitation process faster than traditional methods.
